Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited ZARYS International Group on the February 1st. The company is a leading supplier of medical equipment for the Polish healthcare sector.
Coronavirus pandemic has directed the attantion towards companies from the medical sector. The year 2020 was a challenging time for many of them. ZARYS International Group, a company with 30 years of experience, successfully carried all the tasks that were set before it.
Since the spring of 2020, ZARYS has worked closely with Polish hospitals, providing a steady supply of medical supplies necessary to fight Sars-CoV-2. During 2020, as one of the few in its industry, we realized deliveries originating from domestic production, and also through the „air bridge” spanning between China and Poland. Nearly 20,000 m³ of personal protective equipment, coveralls, gloves, masks and medical gowns were imported this way.
The result of continuous development and long presence on the market is the fact that ZARYS, using its proposed range of products, is able to equip a medical facility in 90% of its needs for basic medical equipment. This opportunity was fully exploited during the arrangement of the first Covid field hospital at the National Stadium in Warsaw. In December, the company completed the delivery of syringes and injection needles necessary for coronavirus vaccination.
The visit of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is a great honor for us - said Pawel Ossowski, the CEO of ZARYS International Group - it confirms that we fulfill our tasks well. Satisfaction is even greater because by performing our daily work we contribute to the protection of health care workers, and at the stage of vaccination - also to patients.
The meeting took place in the company's newly opened Logistics Centre located in the Zabrze - part of the Katowice Special Economic Zone.
