Indication:

  • as an invasive material used during surgical procedures to absorb large amounts of blood and body fluids from
    surgical wounds

Features:

  • made of hydrophilic cotton gauze bleached with the use of hydrogen peroxide (without chlorine)
  • with a sewed in a X-ray detectable thread allowing fast identification of the lap sponge left in the operating field
  • with a belt enabling fixation of the lap sponge beyond the operating field
  • central seam preventing delamination of the gauze lap sponge and providing reinforcement of the product structure
  • sides sewn together internally, which prevents loose threads of the gauze and the X-ray detectable thread sewn into the structure of the gauze from being pulled out
